Site is slow and choppy

Been having this problem for sometime now and on different pc. Very slow on signing in and scrolling down the page it goes in jumps or jerky and slow. This is the only place I have this problem. On my laptop it is worse and keeps disconnecting and something about timing out and has to reconnect. It has to be this website as I don't have any other issues going to other websites. I really hope you can fix it cause it is getting too annoying to keep coming back and I really like the site

Really.. I wish I could say the same. I don't understand how come its only here. I also have a friend that is having same problem. Once I'm signed in for a while (ten minutes or so) it does improve a lot but there is something wrong

It probably started a month ago. I was having other problems too with other sites and getting lots of popups. The wife fixed it for me . Did virus scans and fixed the pop ups and everything is good now except for here. I'm not that computer smart and don't go to many places. I just wish it would go back to the way it was. She is away for the next 3 weeks and says it is not on my end . I have to believe her as everything is working very good except for here. Don't know what to do

try using a different web browser and see if the problem goes away. Mine went really snakey a few days ago with pop ups, pop unders, etc. but only chrome was affected. I finally solved it, damn conduit malware had installed itself again on my system. Site is running fine for me now but just because the system was cleans a few weeks ago does not mean it is clean now

Try flushing your browsers cache..

Thanks so much noof and everyone. I eliminated shout box and bingo its working great. Changing web browser might of worked too. Wife also said stupid internet explorer is not working nearly as good as it should but that is where all my bookmarks are. I'm slowly starting to change that. And how do you flush your browsers cache. Thanks again. I like it here

IN Internet explorer go to tools, internet options,browsing history, delete temporary internet files, cookies and history. It should speed things up.
If you use google chrome I believe it will import your favorites from Explorer.

Ditto on the forum--using IE. Between the popups and the choppy behavior (I can't even back up a page to the main forum), I'm tempted to stop coming here.
