    O.K....
    I'm an idiot and took the plunge and bought a MXQ 4K for 30 bucks US. (I don't have it yet, being shipped)

    I see it says it has 1 gig of memory, but it looks like its a DDR3...
    So shouldn't I be able to put more memory in the thing?

    No, it's not like a PC. I have 2 MX's (predecessor to the MXQ) and they are just fine if set up properly.

    O.K.

    Got mine. Seems to work great. lot of features, and it was about 4 to 5 times the minimum wage in the states for cost.that may give you an idea of cost.

    NOW I have to learn how to use and load it. but that is the fun part.
