Default 33" motorized dish mounted on side of house

Can a 33" motorized dish be mounted to the side of a house? Not sure if there is enough clearance for the dish to turn?

I'd go to satpointer.com and look at the furthest East and furthest West satellites view-able at your location to see if there would be wall clearance if the dish was ever to turn to those birds.

Then pick a good "K" bracket* with the correct spacing to wall mount the pole for the motor, be sure to use the correct anchors for the wall, you can weigh up the mount, motor, dish and bracket, then get wall anchors that are twice to three times that weight capability.

*back side of the "K" goes to the wall

Or you could use one of these puppy's.

    Code:
    http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?mc=02&p=DS-5200&d=Winegard-Universal-Mount-for-1Meter-Satellite-Dish-Antenna-%28DS5200%29&c=Mounting%20Supplies&sku=615798312787
It will hold a motor and your size dish.

nice pic Benney. my friend will be using a HH90 motor, the SG2100 above might give more spacing? What that line from dish to dish arm? Is that home made or comes with dish?

I put them there. I thought that Inviacom seemed to move the arm when it was on 129. Moves way over to the side from my location.

I have used every type imaginable with it with no problems. I did find some machines don't work well with some switches though.

Switch goes between the motor and dish, one cable feed to the motor. The second cable feed would go to a switch or directly on the LNB.

Remember both will have to watch the same sat.
