    Default 82, 91 bev.

I.ve been away a while. bought a used dreamlink 6. it did have 110, 119 working when I bought it. I'm setting up for 82., 91. Do I need to reload the factory file, latest bin file for bev. I have a paid server # input for bev. Can I install the dish 1st and acquire a good signal? before I load any files? Will it scan any channels in? or set up the files 1st, then install the dish? thx. for any help.

If you have 91&82 showing in the dish pointer settings you should be able to point dishes. Then carry on with the rest of your stuff.
