Channels are coming back but still a lot of freezing on both SD and HD channels. After ECM, there was hardly any freezing, but now, freezing comes on every 10 minutes or so and takes a little longer to latch back onto server. This is my observation. Hope the team is working on the freezing issue. Other than that, it is quite good, considering a lot of B3V servers had bite the dust.

Sorry to everyone that was disappointed last night trying to watch the UFC. The replay is up today and seems to be running more stable.
There should be little to no freezing on the channels that are up, and more will be added this week.

As a reseller I'm having a very tough time in moving credits due to freezing

I would suggest to those re-sellers , advertising theirs service as the best of the best , to start fixing their server problems , specially the channels from 100 and up (the French portion )that they are preaching , where coming back pronto . All they are doing is overloading their server and preaching volume instead of quality of service .

I'm guessing because of the recent outage (hit) on north services and buy in with anyone still selling they have over sold without the ability to handle the volume.

I doubt that they are overloaded. You'd have to be on the pipe, to buy north at this time. Their server is probably decrepit junk, and their techs have little or no experience fixing things up after an ECM. The south guys have YEARS of experience tweaking things after working on 25 ECMs/yr.

You are right - ECM card hits are very uncommon for the north - so it probably took a lot of the north servers by surprise - most of them have never had to go through anything like that before.
It is a nightmare trying to run a server and having to try to start from scratch again.
Hopefully the guys that are going to survive will learn from this and plan for what they are going to do when BEV does it again. The Dishnet guys have gone throught this many times - the good ones know that they need a set of backup card/receivers but they also have to know when and which channels to restore first and don't overload the system. There is a step-by-step process to follow - they just have to figure it out.

It has been very easy for a lot of the north services up until now - so let's see who can survive - the cream will always rise to the top.
