OOpppss sorry my fault, your looking for 82/91.

Well the problems I see is the type of bracket your using, it is setup for three satellites and is putting one LNB off center, but it may work.

Again goto the dishpointer web site and select the 82/91 satellites, then use that data to first find 91W, then skew the dish to find 82W.

You have to edit the TPs for 82 and 91 under manual scan. Once your in there you will see all the TP's are actually C band TP's. Delete all but one and then add 12224, 20000, DVB on 91 and 12224 , 21500, TURBO on 82. Then scan with network search on. This will find all the TP's on the sats.

Once that is done sometimes the scan comes out ****. Delete all channels and then do a manual scan of each TP on both sats with network search off this time.

He does not even have the dish pointed right yet. As near as I can tell he is trying to eyeball it rather than rely on box meters to tell him he is pointed right. The trouble with that is--the beamwidth of a 60 cm dish is about 2.5 degrees (with dish diameter (D) in cm use beamwidth=150/D). The typical support post is about 13cm circumference and 360/13 is about 27 degrees per centimeter--so that 2.5 degree beamwidth is about a millimeter of accuracy (even out at the LNB end you have to have the thing pointed within 1 or 1.5 cm to have it pointed right). You just can't eyeball that close in EL or AZ.

That's kind of impossible with 1 dish and the bracket you are using. What I think is going on is the dish with 2 LNB's was hitting 129 & 119 and the other single dish was hitting 110, and 110 is on diseqc 1 as shown in the pic. 91 is on diseqc 2 and is all good which means that 82 will be on either diseqc 3 or 4 but you may have to slightly adjust the 82 LNB to grab the signal.

Just for *****s try changing your LNB type. Go through the list see if there is any that get 82 to work.

thanks for all your help, its been a learning experience since having someone else set it up, i had no idea really whats what on the roof.

one more question for now, for the channels im getting now on 91, the "HD" channels are letterboxed and dont really look HD to me, the only real HD picture i seem to get is the aquarium channel which completly fills the screen and is in HD. im Using the dreamlink HD box with HD module in it. Had great quality with 129 before.

okay had everything perfect, but now getting no signal at all for either dish :< thought maybe the wind blew them around, tried to reposition them today and nothing, on my dreamlink the signal and quality are just staying orange at 99 no matter where i move them. could the disect switch be bad or cable be bad ?

I think you need to start the install over from scratch.........
If I were you I would take the receiver and a small tv up to the roof and connect each lnb (one at a time) direct to the receiver and see what each lnb is aimed at (put the diseqc settings on the receiver for each sat to "None" or "0"), Once you have each lnb aimed at the sats you want to hit then connect them all to a new diseqc switch (change the diseqc settings on the receiver back accordingly), then all should be good unless you have a bad cable going from the diseqc switch into your house.

thanks i got it back for now, just didnt tighten them down enough from them going side to side. i was able to reposition today and got it going for now across two different dishes. Would like to eventually get it set up with the two lnbs on one dish.

If you are having issues with the bracket or skewing a dish to hit 2 sats you can also remove the bracket and put 1 lnb in the dish-arm and place the other lnb right next to it, then just slide the second lnb slightly up or down till you hit your sat then clamp it down with a large hose clamp ($1.00). It's called a poor-mans-dish and works very well when done right.
