    Default feedhorn-lnb

    WITH spring around the corner I need to upgrade my 7/12 ft my 10 ft ok but any feedback on what feedhorn-lnb. hear good things about norsat & chaparral but is worth the price I only do c band & signal not great on 7 1/2.

    try tge gsky lnb, its supposed to have better gain for smaller dishes

    I have to agree with lemme. I am using the plain jane gsky dual lnbf with great results on both my 10' and 8'. I have invested twice into expensive feedhorns and lnbs in the past but both times I wasn't pleased at all. Another problem with the more expensive equipment is that you will need an older receiver to flip your polarities and then swap out the signal to the receiver your using. Here is an example:

    The 2 red ones on the back are for polarity flopping. This is the lnbf that I'm using, the conical scalar isn't necessary on dishes your size:

    ..or you can look at this. kind of heavy & pricey for 180, but good stuff for polarity change.

    i use a chaparral with norsat lnbs for c & ku, with good results.

    yea didn't want to go back to polarity changers lnb unless I had to but will check out the gsky lnb.is that some group that make boxes?

    Yes, the same group that makes the GSKY v7, I am thinking of trying 1 my self and a GSKY v7 for stream recording.

    some saying adding a funnel increases signal strength not plastic unless foil inside. funny @ 1st but makes some sense its all in testing fun of this game.
