I'll take rib eye too - but 6 of those lamb chops cooked rare with a splash of lemon or mint sauce is not a bad substitute

    Leafs #2 Wings #1 lol

ARGHHHHHHH.....never mention "mint sauce" to a Greek!!!! LOL......you`d be hanging from the nearest tree if you ever asked for mint sauce in a Greek`s house. Oregano and lemon.

But I like the 2-1 Leafs LOL

for me its hard to decide - i luv lemon with most things - but for me lamb with a hint of mint-vinegar-sugar sauce is a perfect combo

But variety is the spice of life...for the Noof anyways.
We have a local Ma & Pa supermarket that sells the most amazing Black Angus prime & Wagu beef imaginable.I will usually buy what looks best , but a NY strip,Porter house, or rib eye on the bone will all fit the bill. The Noof LOVES his red meat...too much,so I'm told.lol
P.S...anyone in the Oakville/Burlington area in southern Ontario MUST try Mary Lous' market if you like good produce.

Yeah, I know all about that "too much" stuff........with both daughters being nurses and "healthy eaters" they both crap all over me when I eat red meat more than 2X a week....which is every week. My youngest, still at home is an incredible cook but 4 yrs ago when she started working in Encology and started cooking for health, food, spices, oils everything........it`s ****....all of it, freakin` turkey everything and it`s all crapola "Dad, it`s good for you.......not if I don`t eat it" is my argument..........so I eat out or fend for myself....ps her boyfriend eats it to shut her up then stops at MacDonalds on his way home....freakin` coward.

Your west coast roots are showing my friend...........people in the east probably have never heard of tri-tip. Mainly mentioned by beef loving dieters. Their loss because it`s excellent.
