my cat got a new t5 . problem is that when unit is turned off and then back on ,the red and green lights flash and no picture. the only way to get picture back is to remove hmdi cord and turn the unit back on and then install hmdi . I tried different hmdi and no difference. what is my cat doing wrong,or should she just leave it on all the time.would it really matter. also does anyone know where my cat can get a sk 200 for her old dlhd , cause that is the reason she needed a new box . please remember that we live in the north and it seems hard to get some things shipped up here. or pm me about that part please.

The problem is likely in the TV--some do not like an HDMI port that does not immediately handshake and with your box turned off it does not handshake. You could try a diff TV to check. You could try turning on the t5 way before the TV so that it can handshake to the TV (might not work though, hard to say).

As long as you can keep it relativity cool its best just to leave it on.

Constant off/on and rebooting typically causes more harm than you would think with these unts. Mine only goes off/on through remote or off/on through switch on the unit when its absolutely necessary.

Hook it up by Component cables and see if that problem goes away
Some of the DL-T5 & T4'S have a bad/loose HDMI connection, cause my T4 did the same thing
soon as i changed to component, the issue went away
