Default DREAMLINK HD T5 signal loss

Hi there, I have my T5 for few years, great receiver. In the last few weeks I started to get sporadic (intermittent) satellite signal loss on both BEV and Dave. To rule out antenna, LNB and cables I connected an old SonicView HD receiver to same setting and issue is not there anymore therefore it follows the T5 receiver.
Since issue is intermittent I'm wondering if there is any knowledge out there on what can be done to fix this issue (T5 boxes are still expensive I would not want to buy another one if better options).
    Thank you!

I've found that bad power supply for Dreamlinks cause signal loss. Power supply powers up receivers but for some reason no signal. I changed power supply, signal issue resolved.

Thanks, hope that I can find a power supply...guessing ebay, kijiji might be a good way to start.

For dishuser: thanks, I did try different switch already, no difference. As far as getting dave is only for research purposes LoL.

Oddly I get Dave and I don't have a sub. Course that means I get 1 TV channel and lots of audio, but you can't say "no one" gets dave w/o sub. You just have to have right receiver and channel list (the audio is not encrypted).

Now I'm sure the AC adapter was the main contributor to intermittent signal loss.....my original AC adapter just died today....will get a new one. Was interesting to learn and problem solve with great help .....appreciate.

Actually, I've seen a post or two where folks with a DL or one model or another have pointed dish at 101 and gotten signal lock. As the data sheets for most Broadcom tuner chips show that they are DSS functional, I'm guessing that there is a good chance that you can do Dave. Course you can't get into channel list to modify it and you can't get into code to play with it--so you likely are right but not because of hardware.
