    Default Picture Quality with IPTV

I am very new to IPTV. I had voodoo on for ufc the other night and notice like some frames of the picture were missing especially with fast action. Not freezing or buffering maybe it should be referred to as the refresh rate or something?
I don't know the right term anyhow I have 2 boxes, a Sunvell T95U Pro and a Buzz 3000 both android devices and same issue on both boxes. Anyone have any ideas on what's happening?

Just another note: I haven't noticed this with any other movies or shows only on the fight.

If you're used to sat/cable quality picture, most content in iptv is soft by comparison.I have tested several box/provider combos & the results are the same:I don't like the picture quality at all.

Yeah I read sometime back that the quality isn't as good as IKS. Now I am finding out first hand I guess.
I wonder how Telus in Canada is achieving 4K with there receiver connected to internet? I think they call it Optik TV.

Yea its probably because of Telus having lots of money, and Fiber internet feeding it lol

For best picture, always hard wire your box directly to your router. Wifi won't do.

Too many things can affect the picture. Server, internet, server load, processor, just to name a few. Sounds like if you're not having challenges with other things using the server and device, maybe it was isolated to the fight because of server load.

Just a guess. Try again, or try another service. See if it makes a difference.

Personally, I find iptv picture quality outstanding on my Global Media Box and ok2 service. I had been using a mag 254 and that was brutal.

The Mags have by FAR the worst pic I've seen on the media boxes.480i on sat looked better than 720p on the mags.

The video and audio quality of satellite is better because the bitrates are higher. If you demux a Bev HD sat stream you will probably find that the video bitrate is between 3500-5000 kbps with a high 4.0 or 4.1 profile, and the audio is 384 kbps. I have never demuxed an IPTV recording. but I'd bet the video specs for say Nitro are 1000-1500 kbps using a main 3.1 profile, and 100 kbps stereo for audio. That is just a guess though.
