    Default IPTV and audio quality

Just wondering if audio streamed from say a service like OK2 if the audio is also streamed in Dolby Digital 5.1 if the show is formatted with Dolby digital 5.1 Example would be if watching a movie on IKS and surround sound works perfectly Dolby digital 5.1 on a particular movie, would that be the same audio experience viewing that same movie on the same channel but only streamed via IPTV using a service like OK2.

    Does your device decode 5.1?

My surround yes, and I have a Buzz XLP3000 ordered. A admin from the Facebook Buzz page says HDMI-2 will work and recognize HDMI. Basically what I was wondering if IPTV is streamed with all the audible options like Dolby Digital 5.1 when it is a 5.1 movie or the basic 2 channel stereo. My receiver I suspect should be here in another few days so will know the reality then, but I was just curious if others were listening on there surrounds and receiving Dolby digital using an IPTV supplier.

Not your home theater...your streaming device I meant.I ask because I tried a mag 254 some time ago, & it didn't have the codecs for 5.1
