Can you use DirectTV LMBs to get Dish signal ? Also, does the different dish shape make any difference?

If they are single LNB and not the three molded together yes And the Dish bigger is better.

The setup in your menu if you are using the single type lnb is standard circular compared to using a dn later type lnb.
The dish is just a reflector of the signal information of the sat it is receiving from where it is pointed to.
