We start off looking back at last week when Sting tried to convince Dixie Carter to take Hulk Hogan back as her new GM, and then Dixie is backstage saying that Hogan didn't answer, so she gave him a week to think it over and is expecting an answer tonight.
We go to the Impact Zone where Bobby Roode comes out flanked by several cops, who are protecting him in this alleged unsafe working environment. He has a message to everyone who wanted him fired: we can all kiss his World Championship ass because without Bobby Roode, Impact Wrestling is absolutely nothing. He did what he said he would do at Victory Road: he beat Sting down and also beat him down mentally and made him resign as GM, making Roode the winner of their war. Also, Dixie Carter got what she deserved by sticking her nose in Roode's business, and now nobody is going to stop him. Crowd chants "we want Dixie" as Roode reminds us that he doesn't need to be here, all he has to do is beat James Storm at Lockdown. The cops aren't here to protect Roode, they're here to protect Storm because he's been begging for this fight, and the last thing he wants to do is fight Roode because he knows Roode is better than him and he's going to prove it at Lockdown. Storm doesn't need to be sorry about his luck because when you're the World Champion, you're so good that you don't need any luck.
James Storm comes down the ramp and into the ring as Roode stands behind the wall of security holding up the belt. He asks what kind of man lays his hands on a woman, and tells Roode's mall cops that he's not here to steal a t-shirt, he's here to fight Roode. Before he has a chance, Bully Ray runs out and attacks Storm from behind. Roode looks thrilled and tells Bubba to keep it up on Storm, but Storm returns fire on Bubba before he has a chance and Bubba and Roode bail out and head up the ramp. Storm demands that they both get in the ring to face him tonight, and asks the It Factor what he says. Roode says he's crazy, but if he wants the both of them 2-on-1, then he's got it.
Gail Kim and Madison Rayne are backstage and Gail says that the last month has been hard on their friendship, but she got Madison a present. Madison opens it up and it's a big old tiara because even though Gail's the Knockouts Champion, Madison will always be the queen, and she just knows that Madison will kick the crap out of Velvet Sky tonight.
Madison Rayne vs Velvet Sky
Madison jumps Velvet before the bell and hits a dropkick, then punts Velvet in the ribs and waves to the crowd. Velvet turns the tide and hits a basement dropkick for 2, but Madison turns it right back around and rams Velvet face first into the top turnbuckle before screaming nice things in her face. Madison with a Rikishi splash in the corner and a spinning bulldog, but Velvet blocks the twisty neckbreaker and begins nailing Madison with forearms and a spear. Velvet with a bulldog and the sitout Pedigree for the win.
Winner: Velvet Sky
Christy Hemme catches up to Velvet Sky in the aisle for some comments, and she says that Gail has been so preoccupied with her BFF that she never gave Velvet her rematch for the Knockouts Title. She's putting the Knockouts Division on notice that she's coming back for HER Knockouts Title.
Bully Ray is backstage telling Bobby Roode that he had better be worried about James Storm because he took out both Daniels and Kazarian last week, but Roode obviously doesn't think he has anything to worry about.
From there, we go to Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan sitting on a park bench where Dixie thanks Hulk for talking to her, and Hulk says it's the least he could do after all the craziness. He doesn't want to put it all on Eric Bischoff because he was as much of a part of it as anyone, but Dixie says Hogan showed her something when he took himself away from all that and she needs the Hulk Hogan who was able to pull himself away from what Bischoff was doing. Hogan pulled himself out and he made peace with TNA and everything and he's not sure he wants to come back, but Dixie says he didn't leave her a peaceful situation and she needs him to come back because Sting wants to get in the ring and fight. I'm not going to recap this whole damn conversation because it goes on forever, but Hogan doesn't think he wants to come back and Dixie wants him to come back because she needs him to clean up the mess.
We see a video package detailing the breakup of the Crimson/Matt Morgan team and Crimson's challenge to Morgan to face him this week on Impact.
Kurt Angle is backstage and says that he refuses to give Jeff Hardy a rematch at Lockdown because he's a crybaby just like his son Cody.
Christy Hemme is ready to introduce the next match, but Austin Aries interrupts her to come out and say he has a bone to pick with Bully Ray because he got beat by James Storm in two minutes, and he chose to take it out on Aries by jumping into the ring during his match. He's Austin Aries, and when Bully Ray stuck that boot in his face, he created a problem because he's Austin Aries, he's not the biggest guy but he's got a set of testicles bigger then Bubba's calves. He respects James Storm for standing up for himself just like Aries has done his entire career, so he's got a great idea: he'll team with Storm to take on Bully Ray and Bobby Roode.
