Those of you with Samsung phones (except Nexus S) will have to wait for ICS until Q3 2012.

No need to wait, root and upgrade your phone to newest ICS.Check xda forums for help.
Happy owner of rooted,upgraded (official ICS 4.04)Samsung Nexus (prime)

yep, rooting is almost always best. all my devices are rooted and running some sort of tweaked rom, but official builds are usually more stable and offer less issues than custom roms.

I am having samsung galaxy s. when i have switched to second version from first version i lost my all back up data. can any one help me in fixing this thing out? it would really great help.

I'm in Central America where I got an Android phone from a local cell provider (Tigo). It's a model I've only seen sold in China, the LG P350. Smaller than most US phones making it a convenient carry but sacrifices screen size. Anyways I'm wondering if there's anything I can do with this phone. It has Android 2.2 OS and boots with Tigo logos and apps. Uses Tigo SIM card for connection and storage.
