does anyone know how to get to world 4 from 2 or world 8 to 7 in the new super mario bros

Beat the last boss in the last castle of world 2 or 5 as mini mario (use the stomp technique, jump and press down) or have a mini mushroom to use after you beat the boss

my son and i were playing last nite after dinner and man was he happy to get to world 4 after so many trys.
