How do you turn on private messaging after having the required number of posts??

it should happen automatically but it takes up to an hour. you can turn pm on or off in your settings at the top right of the screen. then scrool down till you see general settings on the far left and in there is the option to turn pm on or off

You will typically need to log out of the site and log back in before the pm option will show up for your account.
