There comes a point where WWE should realize that making money is more important than stroking its own ego. Vince McMahon is so obsessed with putting "his" guys over, that he does so at the expense of business.

Three days after it happened, it is still baffling to think that Brock Lesnar lost to John Cena. There were so many brilliant storylines that could have played out if you had Lesnar win, but instead McMahon burned all sorts of money to make sure that a UFC guy lost to a WWE guy.

Perhaps the fault is ours. After so many times of getting burned with stories that had great potential only to see them wasted, we shouldn't expect WWE to do the right thing.

That's all for today's daily rant. Here is the latest news, notes, information and rumblings from behind the scenes in WWE.

BROCK LESNAR BRINGS THE PAIN BACKSTAGE

Since we started on the subject of Extreme Rules, it turns out Brock Lesnar wasn't too thrilled with the way things played out after the match ended. The loss is what it is and he knew that was happening, but the Cena promo afterwards caught him off guard and didn't like it.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Should Lesnar be that upset?

Our Take: Hell yeah. Say what you want about Lesnar's seemingly bipolar mood swings, but to have Cena just sitting there after the match was over talking about how badly he was hurt makes Lesnar look even worse. It didn't help that Cena was on Raw the next night talking about how nothing was really wrong with him.

If WWE had no designs of turning Lesnar into an unstoppable monster who could make the company a lot of money by running through everyone in the company, which is what he was presented as leading up to Extreme Rules, why hire him back? Just to pop one number before turning him into another guy who can't beat Cena?

TRIPLE H DOESN'T NEED SURGERY FOR "BROKEN ARM"

Triple H and Brock Lesnar did their best magic act on Monday night, with WWE saying that The Game's arm was broken following an attack and kimura from Lesnar. The latest word going around is Triple H won't need surgery, just time off to heal.

Question on Everybody's Mind: When should we expect to see The Game back?

Our Take: I wouldn't be surprised to see him show up on Monday with his arm in a sling to suspend Lesnar indefinitely. After that, the two will probably start to appear more frequently in July to set up a match at SummerSlam.

Watching how this whole thing played out, it wouldn't be a shock to see WWE put together this big match for SummerSlam and have Lesnar lose to Triple H. It's not everyday you see Triple H get thrown around on television, and you know he is going to do everything he can to make himself look strong.

CHRIS JERICHO'S FOZZY SCHEDULE REVEALED

While no one seems to know the specifics of Jericho's contract with WWE, it does seem that he will be given a good portion of the summer off to tour with his band Fozzy. The latest information to come out includes a touring schedule that goes from August 15-September 30.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Does WWE write him off television?

Our Take: I don't see an injury angle or something like that, just because Jericho has been appearing on-screen via satellite a lot lately that there is no reason to do some big injury angle, especially if he is only going to be gone for a little over a month.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Rock Stars

Jericho's return has been interesting, to say the least. I won't call it a failure because there have been some good moments, but he has yet to win a match on pay-per-view and the matches with CM Punk the last two months have not lived up to the hype.
