John Cena is the most polarizing figure in the WWE. He has his fans and he has his haters.

Despite the decrease in support in recent years, Cena still refuses to change who he is and what he is all about. His decision to remain constant to what he have known Cena to be has caused a split in his supporters and haters.

Even though there is a split between the WWE fans, these fans still appreciate Cena.

Here are four reasons why WWE fans are starting to appreciate Cena more.
One

John Cena's match against The Rock helped the WWE break pay-per-view records. According to an article on WWE.com, WrestleMania 28 garnered 1.3 million pay-per-view buys.

While many of this had to do with the return of The Rock, it also had a lot to do with Cena. WWE fans wanted to witness the once in a lifetime match between the two.
The match was considered historic because Cena is the face of the WWE and a huge star facing an all-time legend.

If The Rock faced Hornswoggle at WrestleMania 28, people would tune in, but not as much as they did.

Two

John Cena has a split in fans and haters, but that also causes a huge reaction from the fans.

Every time Cena's music goes off, the arena the WWE are in that night erupts with boos and cheers.

His fans always show their support and his haters always show their dislike. Either way, Cena gets the biggest or one of the biggest pops each and every week.

His fans love to love him and his haters love to hate him.

Three

Brock Lesnar has recently returned to the WWE and has returned as a heel. This has led him directly into a feud with John Cena.

Lesnar has done a good job being a heel and getting the WWE fans to dislike him. However, he has also been proven to be vulnerable. Lesnar has cut some poor live promos because he simply lacks mic skills.

This has caused WWE fans, even some of his haters, to support Cena.

Some of Cena's haters would rather cheer Cena over Lesnar. This also allows fans to appreciate Cena's mic skills and ability to cut solid promos more.

Four

After his match with Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules, John Cena apparently injured his arm. He cut a strange promo that led many to believe Cena's injury was real and was going to have to take time off.

This caused an uproar of talk and speculation among the IWC—showing Cena still matters to WWE fans. If fans really hated Cena, they wouldn't care if he got injured and took time off.

However, his injury scare made people realize that, even though they may boo Cena, they love to boo Cena.
