91 BEV<dish 500> with 1000.2 dish

I need to know if I can hook my dish500 pointing at 91 to the input of my 1000.2 dish? If possible what settings would I need to configure this in the VS 9000 menu? If its any help I have a dp34 switch and a SW21 available. Thanks in advance for any help given.

If your Dish 500 has a single satellite Dish DPP LNB on it then yes it will work.

Diseqc switch settings would be..

Diseqc port #1 = 119.
Diseqc port #2 = 110.
Diseqc port #3 = 129.
Diseqc port #4 = 91.

No external switches would be needed as the Dish 1000 LNB has it's own internal switch.

How ever the current draw on the Dish 1000 LNB will be higher then normal as it now has to supply the DC voltage and current to the new external LNB.
