Khan is looking for a July opponent... namely Danny Garcia, who beat up Erik Morales in his last fight.
Garcia is pushing for more dough. So maybe this won't happen.
Khan's mouthpiece says that if the Garcia fight does not happen he will try for Devon Alexander or
(get this) Erik Morales!

Meantime,,, there is negotiations with Golden Boy Promotions about a fight between
Erik Morales vs Juan Marquez!!!! (huh??? double huh???)
To be held in Dallas at the BIG Dallas Stadium.
Only people with nothing better to do with their dough would pay for that one...
Better to give it to charity!!
Guess Erik's brains did not get completely scrambled in his last fight... he asking for more.. will
end up like Margarito... (but as I said before,, as long as suckers keep paying for these farces they
will continue to happen)

Sounds like boxing in a big big drought.. Not much else to talk about in our boxing forum.

i agree ever since khan vs peterson fell through i dont see any good coming up till manny vs bradley which im
not that excited about. any chance of khan vs marquez? i get confused with weight divisions but believe
they are around same weight class.

Good question about Marquez and Khan D3,,, Marquez can fight anywhere from 140-150... Khan is in the middle
someplace... that would be a very good bout...
Surprised noone has brought that possibility up... Maybe one doesnt wanna take a chance with the other.
Unless the promoters are in cahoots... i know Khan is with Golden Boy... I think Marquez with Top Rank.

Khan vs Marquez is something I'd shell some coin for (Yah!), Not for Khan, but for Marquez, since the Old Man will give it All as Always. Khan unfortunately under my books is another one just like Canelo and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. whom All had their opponents hand picked, and Truly needs to be put to the test. Too Bad Peterson got caught this time and just gave Khan more bragging rights...

I Know We won't see Khan vs. JC Jr. any time soon, so we'll see what the Golden Boy has got under his sleeves!

i agree with this, hate when they have these young guys and give them handpicked opponents just makes it worse for their reputation, but then again they are trying to build up their rank. i dont think jc jr vs khan will ever happen, have u seen how much weight jc jr puts on for fight night really weird imo. i just hope they figure out something with these boxers soon.
