Hey Everyone,
Is there anything I can add to my current set up to get a 5th lnb added into my 9x8 switch? Any chance of cascading a 4x2 into one of my satellite ports on the 9x8?
Any thoughts are appreciated.

As far as I know the only way is to upgrade to a 13X8.

If the 9x8 is not a cascadable switch, then you can't.(has outputs for another switch)
You would have to upgrade to the switch Homer mentioned.

Also your receiver has to be Diseqc 1.1 or 2.0 compliant.
I've use this switch before and have added more lnb's to one receiver by adding a 4x1 diseqc switch.
The 9x8 uses ports 1 and 2, with 22khz on or off, so you can have up to 4 lnb's.
All I did was run 2 cables from the output of the 9x8 to a 4x1 switch, then added 2 lnb's to the 4x1.
This let me use 6 lnb's on one of my receivers.

I don't see how that would work because each output on a 22hz switch has a different voltage to distinguish polarity. You may be getting reception on two more sats but it would only be one polarity.

Two cables from 4 lnb's to the 9x8 switch. One cable from 2 other lnb's to a 4x1 diseqc (ports 3 and 4), 2 cables from output of 9x8 into ports 1 and 2 of 4x1.
Only had one receiver connected to 6 lnb's. Two other receivers only had 110/119 and 91/82.
This was before N3 came along.
How I had it set up:
110 Diseqc 1 22khz off
119 diseqc 1 22khz on
91 diseqc 2 22khz off
82 diseqc 2 22khz on
97 diseqc 3
101 diseqc 4

Thanks Fn59,
I'll give it a try and see how it goes.
