i've had a long standing problem with my switches. I do not know if it is the 22 switch or the switch in lnb. i have 34 switch with ecoda to hook-up bev. one side will only bring in 91. other 22 will only bring in 82. my question is if i connect a dish receiver to the 34 switch will it give me more power that will make the switching work. above has happened over time. when i first installed it worked fine. in addition, if i disconnect cable to bev at 22 switch and reconnect, it switches between 91 & 82 one time fine on both sides ( 2 Receivers). in other word 91 & 82 will work, however, when i try to again switch between 91 & 82 it will not work more that once. Any ideas???

How many sats are you pointing at ? What type of lnbs are you using ? List all switches and receivers that you are using.

In addition to the above, are all of your dishes and switches grounded properly? If not, I would first ground everything properly (this is an electrical code requirement, BTW) as lack of grounding can cause all kinds of weird problems to crop up.

grounded. 34 with 119,110,129. dp plus. legacy for 91 and 82. all 5 locations go thru ecoda. dn on 1. bev on 2. all settings are correct. just connected dn receiver to port 1. it does not appear to have an effect.
