Another person to busy texting than driving, hope he was the only one in the car,

I guess when enough innocent people die then MADD will start up a sister branch

MATD ( Mothers Against Text Drivers)

these drivers are just as dangerous as drunks drivers, hope you don’t text and drive
and make sure your kids know the dangers..now look at the pic....

Texting pad still in driver's hand?

Couldn't duck low enough for that one. It looks like the actual bottom of that trailer is behind the back wheel of that corvette. Could not have known what hit him.

I hope he wasn't texting what time he was going to arrive for dinner. I think he will be late for that appointment. I see people around here having a hard time navigating the mall parking lot while yapping on their phones. The best I seen in awhile though was some woman next to me at the light with a coffee in one hand, gabbing on the phone, and checking her makeup in the mirror while waiting for the light to turn green. I am guessing she wanted to look good or the undertaker

I saw some pictures a while back that i doubt anyone here would like to ever see. It was a similar accident as this with a 25 year old guy that was also texting. The pictures were of him pulled out of the car on the pavement in two pieces pretty much in two halves.

He had his eyes open with a look of shock of what was just about to happen.

I don't have a weak stomach but i will never forget those pictures, if i ever even thought about texting while driving in the past i can assure you i don't anymore.

Kids should see some of those pictures i think, it may save there lives.

That picture should be shown to all new drivers or in class rooms to show what can happen jmo

Looks like the truck was parked on the shoulder when it got hit... Texting or not, why was the Corvette driver even driving on the shoulder?

looks like his head it the left door on the trailer there is a blood spot. also looks like an arm in front of the rear tire on the vette near the tag with a short sleeve shirt.

Being involved in the trucking industry myself its very possible this was a suicide.

Usually they will just aim at the tractor to do a head on but........not this time.
