ELLIS' 39 POINTS LEAD WARRIORS TO COMEBACK WIN OVER KINGS

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Monta Ellis poured in 39 points and dished out six assists, as the Golden State Warriors rallied to beat the Sacramento Kings, 108-101, at ORACLE Arena.

Corey Maggette added 24 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors, who started a season-long seven-game homestand on Friday. Stephen Curry chipped in 12 points for Golden State, which outscored Sacramento, 32-15, in the fourth quarter.

Tyreke Evans ended with 25 points and six assists for the Kings, who have dropped five in a row. Ime Udoka donated 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Beno Udrih had 14 and six off the bench in defeat.

An Evans jumper with 9:46 to go in the third gave Sacramento a 68-50 margin. Down 80-64 late in the period, the Warriors cut into the lead with an 11-2 run. Maggette ended the spurt with a free throw to make it an 82-75 game with 1 1/2 minutes remaining. The Kings held an 86-76 lead heading to the fourth.

Golden State opened the fourth on a 13-4 flurry to get within one. Maggette's jumper made it 90-89 with over eight minutes to play.

A Udoka trey moments later had Sacramento in front 98-91. The Warriors responded with a 15-1 run to claim victory.

Anthony Morrow's three-pointer gave Golden State a 103-99 edge with 49.2 seconds left. Following a pair of Evans turnovers, the Warriors made 5-of-6 shots from the foul line down the stretch to seal the win.

Sacramento held a 32-28 lead after the first quarter, and used a 6-0 spurt early in the second to build an eight-point margin. Andres Nocioni's pair of free throws made it 40-32 with 8 1/2 minutes left until half.

The Kings scored the final 10 points of the second frame to go in front 61-46 at the break.

Game Notes

The Warriors went 29-of-33 from the foul line, while the Kings made 21-of-25 shots from the charity stripe...The season series between Golden State and Sacramento is tied, 1-1.
