It's unfortunate that children can be that cruel but its also nice to know that the people who care raised that much for her...

Don't anybody take this the wrong way...but, if you're old enough you would have experienced bullying either by taking it or giving it..
People just weren't as sensitive then...There were no Gloria Allred's, ambulance chasers or cell phones with cameras..or cameras of any kind..
It was out there...Just not such a big deal as it is now...Things didn't go viral as they do now...I lived through it...
Those kinds of things were part of normal life...Many things are now frowned on, when we never thought thought nothing of it back then.
Obviously my way of thinking has changed ..The media has brought these kinds of events out in the open and the public has been "taught" that these actions are "morally wrong"..

Wow henpecked, yes it’s been around forever. That doesn’t make it right. And it doesn’t make it expectable behavior. Those being bullied have always been very sensitive to it. And no I was not one of the ones that was bullied. Nor was I one of the bullies. I also didn’t standby and let it happen. Nor have my sons. It has always been morally wrong (with out quotations) and in many cases illegal. Though there are many parts of the world that are dog eat dog or have a survival of the fittest mentality I would hope that we as a people are evolving past that. Just because someone is different or appears weak, is not, and never has been reason to torment and torture them. Bullying can only have a negative outcome for both the bully and the bullied. Its time to change our attitudes as a society. No one should have to live in fear. Wouldn't you agree?
