I have a universal Lnb, a diseqc switch, running into a 22khz switch. The 22khz switch is has a 13 in, and an 18 in, and 2 outs (13/18). I ran one line in and out of the 18. Will this work, or do I even need the 22khz switch? I've got no motor, and it's for DN.

Um...if only using a single LNB, no diseqc switch is required. You should know that a universal LNB usually has two internal local oscillators, one at 9.75 GHz and one at 10.6 GHz and that the last is active if you have 22KHz from the box enabled. Most boxes have auto 22KHz function bases on the transponder frequency that you have selected. And that a universal LNB is not for DN use on most satellites as DN uses circular polarized signals on most of their satellites.

My universal has four leads. 2 a's, and 2 b's. That's for circular and linear. I think the idea was to put 1 a/b on one diseqc, and another a/b on the 2nd diseqc. Then one lead would go to the 22khz switch 13, and the other to 18 (in/out). I put all four leads through one diseqc, and ran that thru the 22khz switch 18 (in/out). My question is will it work, or do I even need the 22khz switch?
I think what you are saying is the stb will funtion like the 22khz switch, and in which case, I won't need it?

If you are only using linear or only using circular output then no switch is needed.
