The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have extended the contracts of LB Otis Floyd and DT Darrell Adams.
Floyd, 33, was one of Hamilton's top defensive players last season. In his first campaign with the Ticats, he recorded 67 tackles and five sacks along with two forced fumbles and one interception. He garnered honours as the league's Defensive Player of the Month for September.
In nine games last season, Adams, 26, had 17 defensive tackles along with a pair of sacks and three tackles for losses.
"Darrell and Otis are key players in the middle of our defence and provide valuable experience at their positions," said Hamilton general manager Bob O'Billovich in a statement. "Otis made an immediate impact last season and brought leadership both on and off the field, while Darrell has the potential to become one of the better defensive tackles in the league because of his size, quickness and ability to rush the passer."
