Most would argue that it is far too early in Damien Sandow's WWE career for him to leave the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on July 15th with one of two guaranteed contracts for a heavyweight championship match.

Those people would have a point, but they would still be wrong.

In a sports-entertainment landscape where fans and bookers alike want everything right now, most often forget that the Money in the Bank winner has an entire year to cash in their guaranteed contracts for a shot at their chosen title.

Damien Sandow may be new to WWE television and he most definitely is not ready to wear one of the two heavyweight championships the company offers, but that should not prevent Vince McMahon from choosing him to win the SmackDown brand's match.

Between now and next year, Sandow will have the chance to grow and evolve as a performer. He has already succeeded at getting the heat his character demands and he has shown a distinct intensity in the ring that others simply do not express.

Most importantly, Sandow can do something other young Superstars have proven incapable of doing: He can talk.

More important than a look or in-ring skills is the ability to communicate with the audience and make them feel emotionally invested in your match and character. Sandow can do that and his character's elitist attitude will always be a hit with the audience.

Tyson Kidd may be the sentimental favorite to leave Money in the Bank with the World Heavyweight Championship contract because he is the little guy with tremendous skill that has been held down for years.

Tensai may be the company's desperate attempt at creating star power.

That said, there is not a single wrestler in the SmackDown's edition of the match that has the upside that Damien Sandow does.

Eventually, World Wrestling Entertainment is going to have to bite the proverbial bullet and give fans something new, something fresh to sink their teeth into.

I could not think of a better option than the Intellectual Savior of the Unwashed Masses, Damien Sandow.

And for that, you're welcome.
