What the best cpu Processor

What the best cpu processor? I been looking at the I7 but not sure with one the best band for the buck. If you know and site that have the best price for a barebone.

If you are the technical type, it is always best to pick your own components and assemble it yourself. It will be more money but you get exactly what you want. I do not know of any sites that will sell barebones systems (unless you are a reseller) but price something from Bestbuy / Futureshop etc. sometimes they have good deals on left over models without a monitor that you can modify by adding a graphics card / hard drive/ memory. If buying components, I would stick with a name brand case such as Antech, a Gigabyte or Asus motherboard (lga1155 with USB 3.0), a core i7-3600 (3.4Gig ) CPU, 2TB Hard drive, 8 GIG DDR3 Ram or 16 Gig (about $50.00 more) and an LG 24X DVD-RW

I couldn't have said it better myself accept for the hard drives, I would have SSD hard drive just for my operating system and externals for your other app needs
