PBS 125w

hey gang, looks like pbs channels on 125w are gone couple days ago. even strength drops to a few % with Q 0%. anybody else?

Wow Thank you for the heads up Casey, I was just aiming for that satellite last night and got nothing for signal and quality..

They converted the mpeg2 signal for mpeg4. That's the reason. You must have a mpeg4 receiver.

You can get these feeds on DVB.S2 mpeg4 @125w

>VMe
>Deutsche-Welle

DN/HD turbo fec tuner not good,
go for OpenBox, AZBox Bravoo+
plus other free-to-air DVB.S2 tuner or PC card

Rescanning, setting the TP up,or getting a new switch will do nothing to get these channels back.

You will need a new receiver, one that will work with MPEG-4.

They switched from MPEG-2, to MPEG-4 several months ago, and kept the MPEG-2 up and running till their feed customers were upgraded to new receivers, if your old receiver can't pick them up now, it never will.

i believe azbox elite supports mpeg-4. but why no Q? it has nothing to do with mpeg-4.

hi i am all new to this mpeg-4 with the boxes.i have a azbox evo xl was geting 125 before it change over to this mpeg-4....
what is a good box to get this sat and other that will have this mpeg -4. thanks i from barbados..

I use a Limesat Air HD and works great for that.

problem solved!!! everything came back! bad cable between switch and lnb.

Yes and i live in Canada. But i have a 33 inches dish, very important to get that satellite.
