cracked lnb lense

hey guys,just got out the ladder to look at my dish and both lnbs lenses are cracked and broken apart.everything still works good but i have had scanning problems for as long as i can remember.they were very cheap a few years ago.is this common.should i replace ? any thoughts

i think you should replace them before it starts to give you more problems if its only a dp twin lnb its only about 20 bucks on ebay....

Replacement is the best option, or a piece of a clear plastic coke bottle with a little super glue till you get a replacement LNB.

If it's cracked by it's self* then it's old, and was time for a change.

It's normal for the lenses to deteriorate. You probably have water inside the lnbs - this will affect performance.
