I was not aware there was an official novel of The Marine, WWE's awful-but-profitable movie starring John Cena, but apparently there was.
Given The Marine and The Marine 2 both made a decent pile of cash for WWE, I suppose this is not a complete surprise.
Well known internet personality/reviewer Brad Jones aka The Cinema Snob, a member of the video producer collective Channel Awesome recently bought his friend Brian a copy of The Marine novel as a joke birthday present.
Here is how that turned out. Be warned there is a little crude language in the video.
It was pretty funny, and Snob's well-known on the internet, receiving a lot of traffic at both TheCinemaSnob.com and ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com.
More importantly, I was unaware there was a novel of The Marine. If the wider internet wrestling community was aware of it, I would have expected more jokes to have been told about this, given WWE's internet fans seem to love mocking John Cena and WWE.
I found the thought of a novel of The Marine pretty funny, especially given the book looks relatively long. I hope you find it as funny as I did!
