laptop's vertical/hor. scroll bar

something strange just all of a sudden happened. on me laptop the vertical scroll bar i usually grab it and will scroll the page up or down, stopped working? i never seen this before and don't have a clue how to fix. i can click the arrows at the top n' bottom , multiple clicking advances it but dragging like i use to don't work. anyone know what happened??

ok, checked that....and don't seem to get anywhere...went through just about all the options. everytime i try to apply or OK pop-up says i have to click? then i try to adjust speed, and level automatically goes back to slow. i have to use control button to keep it in place..lol..once i release it..goes back to slow. but good news is, i managed to speed up the mouse 'roller' now pages fly by!! good enough!! lol

Is this a wireless mouse?

If so then reload the drivers and see whats up after that.
