SLINGBOX anyone tried to use with an fta receiver

ok testers above is my question i am sure someone somewhere has tried to use a slingbox with an fta receiver i have a limesat hd wifi unit and live in central usa want to go to fla and access it this winter anyone got any answers i will even take opinions thanks

Slingbox works with FTA receivers, but for long term usage you'd be better to set your receiver up down there. With IKS there may be issues that come up that can't be dealt with at a distance. JMO
