yes, the Exorcist was really creepy when i was a kid but the one that bugged me as an adult is the japanese original movie "ringu" which was made into an american production.
ringu was scary because it was pretty simple.. the US version had all these horses and barn stuff... also the curse video was really long in the US version...

I sneaked in to see The Exorcist when I was 16 and it blew me away...
To this day, I cannot, and have not, ever watched that movie again...
Came close but couldn't do it...

The scariest Movie for me is Darkness Falls.
Its about A vengeful spirit has taken the form of the Tooth Fairy to exact vengeance on the town that lynched her 150 years earlier. The poor kids and adults that see her.......LOL

As for The Exorcist I ever never seen it. And don't care to see it I heard to much about it. And when I was little My mom wouldn't let us see them kind of movies.:liang:

PS I love these new smilies:toot:

Hanna Montana I would be far more afraid of having to sit through that than the Exorcist

One that freaked me out when I was a kid and still does to this day if I'm all alone in the middle of the night is The Shining.

I always liked Friday the 13th. Jason just refuses to die. I've never seen Excorsist. I thought the ring was scary and I refused to take out the trash for weeks after watching Jeepers Creepers. I always felt he was going to fly down and get me.

You should see it Bro....I believe that it would still spook a grown Man or Woman, I know that it would me... :hide:

I forgot about JAWS..I remember that skeered a lot of folks. That was a huge movie in its day..I was very young and seen it when it first came to theaters..That part wear the head pops out under the boat was the most frightening for me of the movie ..I remember having to sleep with the light on few nights after that..Anyway..its very hard for me to put #1 on just 1 movie..theres so many with there little moments of joy..lol:spider:

I have no idea why, but it was Alien for me with The Shining a close second.
