hi guys,
i need your help, i got Win XP_SP3 PC, cfax is a faxing software, Fax Modem inside PC.

the full form of cfax is COLOR FAX LITE, which is working fine 100% as long as i was having regular telephone line in my home. Once i change my phone line to Internet Phone "VoIP Phone" with a Linksys PAP2, after this my Fax from PC not working any more, so i like to know which is the best software i can use to send Fax from PC on VoIP Phone Adapter telephone line.

thanks for your replies.

This is because the FAX modem is not in the loop, it is not receiving an active phone line tone/voltage from the normal telephone line and your FAX software can not proceed unless the fax modem is active, VoIP phones do not have all the tones and voltages needed to activate a real telephone line modem

If you need to send/receive faxes without a true phone line then you need to go to a web site like "Efax" or some other site like that, or if you need to use a VoIP connection then try looking through the link below.

Now for a word on only using a VoIP phone, and not having a real phone on a real phone line to use.

If the power goes out your without emergency communications, trying to dial 911 on a VoIP phone (or cell phone) in some locations will only get you to the state highway patrol (on a cell phone) or no where on a VoIP phone. (In some cases)

Sometimes other fixes can work too...
