not getting signal

i have a lnb dish network legacy with two port cable. one port hooked to a switch to the receiver and one is straight cable hooked to another receiver. my problem is i am not getting a signal if one receiver is off but if i turn on one receiver i got two signal. is there any way i can separate this signal without turning on one receiver. thanks

do both straight cable, you do not need swith with legacy twin, it is built in (sw42 1 119 or 82, sw42 2 for 110 or 91)

Do you have a Twin LNB (2 eyes) or a Dual LNB (1 eye & 2 ports) ?
