Can you jailbreak a iPad 2

Just bought a 16GB iPad 2 version 5.1.1 do you have to unlock it before jailbreaking then the second question is what it the best software for jailbreaking a iPad 2

it works for ipad 2 also, to unlock try APN Changer you can use h20 wireless for you carrier

I downloaded absinthe 2.0.4 I also read in the read me file after extracting it that it doesn't support iPad 2 wifi R2 so I didn't want to try to jailbreak until I got some replies back I hooked it up and ran the program and before I hit the jailbreak button I noticed my iPad 2 is the one not supported by it what should I do I really want this iPad jailbroken

Ok I just wanted to make sure before I jailbroke it and it is 2.0.4 because I see that they say it's 2.0 not 2.0.4

Use latest Pangu to JB your ipad 2. Install is very easy and straight forward....Just need ipad connected to pc. All my ipad 2's are currently JB
