Nice to see Satfix back!

I've been struggling with my Dreamlink HD. It will work great for a week or sometimes a few weeks and then suddenly it gives me a "Bad or No Signal" error and it won't lock onto any sats. Sometimes rebooting a few times helps, other times it doesn't. Twice now I have dragged the box along with a monitor out to re-point the dish thinking maybe it got nudged somehow, but both times as soon as I did that it started working again without me touching the dish. Has anyone else seen this? Any idea what could be causing it?

I'm not positive but I have a HD ordered and expecting mine in a couple day. But from what I have read in many threads that the module SK200 is very delicate when being installed and am thinking it sounds like it might not have been installed properly and occasionally not making the proper connection. Hence when you take it for a walk it decides to make the connection and start to work properly. If I.m not mistaking I believe it was Kanadian Canuk that had a thread on this issue posted on another site. I'll see if I can find that info and pass it on. Did you install the module yourself?

No, it came pre-installed. I did open up the box to have a look at it and it seems nicely installed. But interesting theory. I'll open it up again and poke it a bit.

I was having signal issues too before but I tried a module with a heatsink preinstalled and that turned out to be bad and the original module was good but I just pressed down on the heatsink that is on the unit processor in the center and it stopped my signal drop issues and pixel issues. I also run the box with the lid off currently.

I'm also running a Dish 1000+ with the DPP44 with the power inserter and made sure that had full signal.

1.check your switch.
2.your module might be bad.
3.do factory default and reset everything
