I guess I need it spelled out a little better. It still doesn't work. All I'm getting is No Service or Scrambled. The lights on my dongle seem to be flashing strangly too. Intermittent green, then yellow a few times then both the green and yellow together, then back to green, then yellow, etc.

The IP change should only be done if you are using IP addressing like 37.46.112.201 . If using DNS (Domain Naming Service) like
2.nfps.ws or 1.nfps.ws then the settings do NOT need to change. (If you still can't connect with DNS then something else is wrong)
Note:
IP Address are all numbers done exactly as in the following example 999.999.999.999 or 037.046.112.201 (Leading zero can be dropped)
DNS is like the following examples 2.nfps.ws or 1.nfps.ws or
www.google.ca(combination of numbers and letters but not limited)

I went back to 2.nfps.ws last night and everything started working again except with freezing. I just turned it on today and it seems to be OK so far. Thank the stars for Netflix last night though.

"We are going to move the clients to another server, we are waiting to finish some tweaking on new server.

The new IP will be 37.46.112.201 for 1.nfps and 2.nfps.

The old server will be working for 15 days more, so clients will have the opportunity to change IP during that time"

reset IP to auto ...hit apply ...once it repopulates exit out of IP set up & go to net application scroll down to input type ... change Domain to IP... enter new IP where it says server... exit out reboot up to 3X soft ... hard ... soft if needed

I believe you are correct where you have it. is your IP set up on auto? I do not have an SV... if you click on the words 'domain name'(in the screenshot) does it give the option of IP address? if so then change it & this is where it goes

Because you need help entering the IP in a STB and you can get thet help in the proper STB section. Not all STB setups are the same.
For example, in my Satzen300 I just use the Domain and don't even need to enter the IP

If you can't find your STB section post what make it is and I or someone else will guide you.

read the post above yours... 10410 uses 1.nfps.ws domain or 37.46.112.201... the eastern arc(sats 61 & 72) is still a problem for NFPS

I a am getting "connection fail" message all the time and not sure it's because the satellite is down or because my internet connection to the server doesn't work with the new IP 37.46.112.201and 10410 port. I believe if the satellite is down I still supposed to have connection to the server. Any suggestions?

check your internet connection.go to ip and apply and then go back after a minute or so and see if ip address is there.if not reboot router and reciever from back.

You have a cable problem(Bad connection), switch problem or Dish Setting problem -
Could be one of many other problems - bad tuner in your STB - Bad LNB and so on. You need to do some troubleshooting !

Thanks for your quick respond. I was able to watch TV with no issues till last month and suddenly i lost everything. Sometimes I get Quality about 45 in few TP's and my Signal always stays around 65. I do not use a switch and I use SV360 Elite. I did a factory reset, rescanned and did almost everything.

Check all your connections also !
With the storm(Sandy)you guys had the dish may have moved !
LNB's are probably OK and I would check the cable and Dish first !
Do you know about TP's and how to check each TP for signal ? You may not get a signal on all TP's. I recently moved my dish and tuned my dish in using these TP below -
Sat 119(Echo 14) I used TP12501h and TP12516v
Sat 110(Echo10/11) I used TP12224v and TP12239h

I tried every single TP for 110 and 119. Last week I was getting Quality about 40 in few TP’s and now I do not get anything at all. Seems like storm has moved my Dish a little. Thanks for your help.

you have some decisions to make.
you posted your "private" info in an open forum last night that anyone can view..not just members.
your info had just over 3 months left on it(108 days) to be exact...not 6 months...i checked.
one of 2 things has happened.
either your code went bad before you posted here or many others are now trying to use it.
your code is now no good..not to you anyways....trust me on the "no good" part.
so...
you either get a new donation from who ever or you just move on to some other form of entertainment.
reading is wisdom and if you would have done that you would have never posted private info in the announcement and up/down area's.
