You can find original lime sat remotes fairly cheaply on ebay.

the harmony was inexpensive and easy,just plug into coputer and list the models of what i had and computer programed it for me. no number serch on the remote. thanks for the input on other remotes

Limesat remote is terrible for reception and range, is the harmony any better?

it is much better in my opinion, also was able to get rid of 2 other remotes on the coffee table( tv,blu ray player) so i can run all of them with one remote. really easy to program with your computer too.
