from the looks of it it isn't so knew, it uses a serial to Ethernet adapter much like the ihubs..unless im looking at the wrong one

I doubt the price includes the 8PSK module.. Those modules are close to 50$ alone.. It probably does FTA hd only..

I got a file for this receiver and here is a read me with the file.

1- Please move the file of " 326sz_v33_1024_x2_0831.img.ssu" to flash memory

2- Power off the receiver and Plug in the flash in the device

3- Power on the Receiver

4- From the menu choice Upgrade and slect upgrade by USB

5- Choice the file and press start

6- Never power the device while upgrade

7- The receiver will make restart and update success


To Enable the patch please press "6767"



Note:I don't have this receiver.

unplug it for a few hours..a day maybe?
see if it resets.

Everything looks good with this receiver. If only it stayed working. Wifi works, ethernet works. Unable to test on server but has special options menu for networking. Also allows B!$$ key entry. has 11300 lnb setting.

the later firmwares let you enter in a lnb freq manually,never tried it myself

only saw an epg on a few oddball channels on 97w.

Hd channels on fta only (pentagon ch. on 101w, etc.)

I got my $49 worth of fun out of it.
You can get into their ftp site using an ftp client on the pc,the new firmware shows up about 1 week before it is made public.
They also have old firmware there in case to have to revert back.

There is a userlnb function now that you can enter 11250 for more accuracy when scanning.

You can download the default database from receiver but have to save the file as a sharebank file.

I have 2 X2 Premium receivers that I am using for true fta. This is the fastest blind scan receiver I have ever tested and its accuracy is up there with the pansat receivers of the sd days. We are waiting for an updated file to address some of its shortcomings on the true fta side. This receiver also works well with iks but as others will not do turbo 8psk.

it doesn't do the n2 radio on 97w but does the biss on 30w
mideast cousins have n2 support but I haven't found one that works yet.

in ez manager v1.0.7 there is a db config under the command menu but I haven't figured it out yet.
Perhaps if it was configured you could save a db.ssu without having the program crash.

when trying to enter password it only allows you to put no more than 4 digits, also having hard time finding set up instructions for private

Is it a menu password?If so it is only 4 digits.Try default 0000.

No this is what I find strange,I get into settings no problem, I am able to enter user,deskeys,url,port, but when you click on password you are allowed only to enter 4 digits only, if your password is 5 numbers or more you can not enter it

press 6969 on the remote this will enable the patch and place IKS setup in the receiver menu,then add your info..
I had no problems entering more then 5 digits...
