Leaving on a Jet plane.

Okay everyone here’s the deal. I’m leaving for NYC in the morning, and leaving my two sons, ages 18 and 16 home alone for the first time. I’m taking a poll to see who can guess to see how much and what sort of damage will greet me when I return next Wednesday. So everyone dream up the worst and we’ll see who gets it right or closest to right.

I miss it this time of year...not... seriously head northeast along the beaches...if its still around Playland amusement park at Rye springs to mind on the weekends... was always a good time in my youth

Yep that what I keep telling myself. Their good boys, their good boys………The neighbors aren’t that close but when they hear the party I’m sure their BYO. I loved Rye beach but I thought it was on Pelum bay or near one of the rivers. That’s not on my list. I have my 35th HS reunion. Damn I’m getting old. lol

if not not hiding the booze it will be consumed. The sheets may be dirty and check flipped over cushions.

Going to NYC huh, well don't worry I called ahead and arranged bail if you need it.


And around these parts when someone goes on vacation, all they do is put the wheels back on the house and take it along.

Hi everyone I’m back. Had a great time but wouldn’t want to live there again. The best part was the trees in upstate. I miss the colors you can only get in the north east. Well I can’t find anything wrong with the house. Nothing broken, nothing missing and nothing soiled. In fact the house is to clean. Hmmm I will have to talk to the neighbors, check face book…… Very strange!

Check for dust bunny's under the couch, if someone cleaned up a big mess there wont be any.

Other give a ways, fresh vacuum marks on the carpet, fresh sheets on your bed, electric bill is higher then normal, water bill is bigger.

Things to do before you leave, leave something small under the couch, check electric meter usage, check water meter usage, check gas meter usage, put a sock between your bed sheets, install a nanny cam.

Thanks Terry, no dust bunny’s under the couch, and fresh sheets on my bed. I’ll have to wait for the electric, gas and water bills to come in. The neighbor said “there was a lot of cars last Saturday night and loud music. The boys said that they “had a few friends over”. I asked what a few were and they couldn’t come up with a count. Well at least the house and its contents are still here.

Cough, cough, not in this plane of existence. Though hope does burn eternal. But maybe they’re responsible enough to keep the house safe and in one piece but as the old saying goes, when dads away the kids will play.
