Just wondering some of the issues most people have with the HD air. Ive been looking to upgrade from the sv360 to this unit. Just weighing the pros and cons to this over the dream link. Does anyone have any input?

the picture quality is very good, it's easy to set up, better remote control, the only down side is the power cord is short and the channel editing guide tends to freeze up sometime. it is also the most expensive HD receiver on the market.

Yes, i confim that receiver is a very good one.
The dreamlink HD is also a very good choice. I heard a lot of good things on it.

Now why would you want a v1 over a ver 2? What are the differences and why cant I seem to find a sat store that carries one ? I live near newmarket and was looking for some assistance on who carries one and new sat stores. Thanx

You are no doubt having a hard time as they are obsolete with no support.
Have a look at the Jynxbox.

what is the difference between the LS500 and LS400 modules? is it just newer? Better heat sink? I just purchased a Lime HD air and got the LS500 + wifi but I was wondering what the differences are. i am replacing a VS9K that went boot loop on me.
