It was just bad timing that thebeav was on vacation when it happened. We all need a vacation now and then.

I do realize as we all do this is really annoying!!! But it is the name of the hobby, we got slammed on Thursday night loosing 35cards on North which is unheard of usually....and another ECM as usual on south.....as stated there are a few cams up on North but will be hit and miss till thebeav gets back and can load new stuff. Loading new stuff is not a quickie either folks. We are aware of all problems and working frantically to get things back. We apologize for inconvenience and are working to repair...

folks, If you are that annoyed you should have a backup like xbmc loaded with the plugins.
Get an android Tv box, load latest xbmc (Gotham build) (no Subscription needed), then load the wizard from the fusion server, just google it.
anyways, be patient. I'm down with the rest of you all. XBMC is an awesome backup. Yes, I cannot wait to have beaver back up but oh well. No griping!!!
I've enjoyed the beaver service over the past year and will gladly renew.
Until then just post that it's still down or if it is up! That's what this thread is for!!

I agree that beaver tv north and south is the best PS out there and I am sure the beaver team is doing what they can especially when issues crop up with DN. I have renewed again with beaver tv myself because I have trust in them. When thebeav comes back he will take care more of the issues but it will take some time a few days maybe so we all should have some patience with the up and down channels.

we have been adding cards off and on all day when there is over 1000 users on requesting almost every channel the provider has it takes alot of cards its being worked on and i will have to reboot it a few more times as we add more cards

the beav did post that the north was still missing channels since the last ecm and once more cards and packages are ordered he can than add them and when he is doing this freezing and disconnects from the server would occur, it could be that is whats going on maybe, he also posted that you may need to reboot to reconnect when he is completed server related work

pinging has nothing to do with how the stb responds to a url

Having problems with your ISP maybe ? I had that problem a few months ago. Check your ISP speed here :

Did the ping test, the packet loss was at 0%. I've read that freezing occurs on the receiver I have, the Ilink 210. Guess my best bet is to buy new receivers. Thanks guys.

Instead of giving your 2 cents of wisdom, why not try and find me a solution? I have tried absolutely everything possible. I've even dragged out another working receiver with the same results. North comes in fine, South will occasionally come in, but most times not.

I agree with you man, everyone who has had a bad signal error and/or bad signal/quality plus some pixilation should always check the dish to make sure it is properly aligned and use a 1/2 wrench to tighten all nuts and bolts. Also maybe change the lnb or lnbs and switch or switches if needed. Tighten all RG6 Coax Cables from dish, switches and receiver and/or receivers. If still having the same problem drag the receiver over to a friend or someone you know that has close the same setup and see how it looks there.
