With 181 on net settings i show dhcp and ip #s. When i enter ps104 and do sys recov on net setting i have no ip address and say k-hub not connected. i press blue button for server setup it says enter pin. getting lost by the second. Any help welcome

Thanks for the info. Code 0415 got me in.Followed ver 4 instructions but wont connect and k-hub red light stays on

If the internet connection is good and ps settings are good there shouldn't be a problem..Try rebooting the system..Pwr off stb,router then modem..Then pwr on the opposite way..

when i fill in ip,port.id,des key and exit they stay.password always disappears. is id and password the same for this machine because my id and pass from the server are different and ive tried both ways. I think i flunked the K-box course.lol.

cant seem to get password to stay saved.twice the box said connected and then switched back to say cant connect.any ideas ill try anything. thanks

Probably info entered incorrectly..Jmo..Once the pass is entered and saved it's there..

Same here, wondering if anyone found some magic wand way of getting pass to save, just keeps dropping
all other info saved, just won't save passw.

If it doesnt save just move on as if it did.I know it makes it hard to check your settings but once you get it works well.

No luck here doing that one. All others saved, which position did you input into and have luck with?
The no save password seems to be a software isssue,

Not sure on the early files I have tried the 105 and 107 on a clone version 4.

Password is likely invisible...If it was entered and saved it is there...Are you using more than one ps??

Just one ps, have tried in different positions to see if it is hidden from view (IMO its not, no other info is hidden) and no
save indicator pops up. Using an assumed cloned V4 and 104 software patch.
Main proof is a known good p/s will not work when info set up

BTW, is the 105/7 patch mentioned above any better, more complete? Do not see it in files list here or is it for the
other kbox type boxes?

thanx in advance. my p/s working flawlessly on others boxes, just k that can't be brought to life. FWIW free previews
come in perfect so not set up issue, connects to server but obvious rejection due to lack of password.
