- World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus recently spoke with The Fayetteville Observer to promote the October 30th SmackDown tapings in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Here are some highlights:

Weekender:
You've had a distinguished career - two-time WWE champion as well as a
world heavyweight champion. What's it like to have experienced such
success?

Sheamus: I've achieved a lot in my short time
here - since about 2006 or so with WWE. I've been very fortunate; I hope
it doesn't end anytime soon.

Weekender: If you could face anyone right now in a world title match, other than Big Show, who would it be?

Sheamus: The Undertaker. I'd like to try and defeat him in a Wrestlemania event. That would be record-breaking for me.

Weekender: How do you feel about social media and how wrestlers have taken to it?

Sheamus:
It's such a big part of what we do now. It can be negative or positive,
though, but we try to use it for positive. I actually tried to avoid
using social media for the longest time, but now I'm on Twitter, and
it's very involved and prominently used in our shows. It helps us keep
our finger on the pulse of the fans.

Weekender: Talk to us about your work with the Be a STAR Alliance. What's that been like?

Sheamus:
I'm proud to be a part of this anti-bullying campaign. Bullying has
been accepted as just a part of life kids have to deal with, but it
doesn't have to be. Bullied kids have been taking their own lives, and
that's tragic. And the kids who do the bullying don't know what effect
they're having. We try to educate these kids, to help them learn that
they have the power to make a change and do something positive.

Weekender: What comes after WWE for you? Politics? MMA?

Sheamus: I don't know. I'm hoping to do this for a long time. I just try to keep my eyes on each week as it comes.
