Much help appreciated please!!!

Hello everyone, I just bought this nano premium se yesterday and I'm having trouble getting picture on my TV. I have a 95% connection rate through the dish so I know that's not the problem. We r just trying to figure this out. I know u can't use the same code on two TVs we where just double checking. But anyway I'm new to all this so take it easy on me. Any guidance to get this thing working would be helpful and much appreciated thanx. Right now I'm thinking that this receiver could be defective?

Do you have a premium or an SE?
when you go into the server settings does it say cnnected at the bottom of the screen or wait 3 seconds??

Its an SE. It says wait 3 sec. I've been waiting 24hrs and nothing lol.

friend have you tried downloading the 7.04 and the 3.06,but first do a factory default and then download the 7.04 Fac and do another factory default and download the 3.06 s/w and check that all your private server info, is correct,and if your using nfps make sure your using the new ip....

If it says 3 secs instead of connected there is a problem with your network.Do a system reboot of your network.Turn off your modem,router and rec.First start up your modem and let all the lights set in. Then start your router and let it set.Finally start your rec. and you should see connected instead of 3 secs.You must have file 3.06 to be able to connect as steve charles has mention in his post.

That means its not conecting to your network.. Are you hard wired to the router or using a bridge??

Never had it hooked up to the ether net cable. Now it says connected. Does the receiver need to be hooked up to router at all times? Going to reinstall the factory files and the sky files again and do a factory default every time and see if that does the trick. Thnx for the fast responses. If this doesn't work I'll read a book or do something proactive lol!!!

Yes. It needs to be connected to router always.Load your files and give it a try. If you still have problems get back to us here so you can get helped.

go to (nanosat receiver files) then go to (how to set up nanosat) you might be doing something wrong

if your router is normally to far away from reciever you can get a repeater pretty cheap and plug it in right by your tv and then connect ethernet cord to repeater and reciever.a repeater wirelessly connects to your router and it works flawlessly.first i guess you want to make sure it works.then do this if it makes it more convenient.

Yup getting hooked up to the network should make it work for u Joe..Just make sure you check all your settings and numbers as if u are off by just one number or character it will not work.. Keep hackin'...lol

Back again guys. So this is where I'm at now. 1)Loaded factory settings 7.09, factory default reset.
2)Loaded sky 3.17 factory default reset.

Soft cam. NewCamd
Input type. Domain
Server. Iksr.tv
Port.35933
AU. On
Authorization number's looks right.
Diseqc 1: Echo star 14 (Dishpro1)
Diseqc 2: Echo star 10/11 (Dishpro1)
Channel search: successful on both
So now here's my problem: when I'm trying to change the channel I see 95% signal 95% quality, 1 next to connection. Everything looks good to me but no picture for channels nor audio. I really don't know what to do anymore. Frustrated is not even the word I'm feeling right now!!!" More IRATEEEE is the word.. Any suggestions would be highly helpful thanx again guys.

If you look 2 posts down from yours Steven states the latest file will not work with NFPS.. Follow the link below and dl the file Steven mentions..

You will need to load factory 704 and sky 306 as sky 317 will not work.

Just a status update. I got it working. Just wanted to send a thanks to all of your responses. You guys helped out this newbie. I appreciate it. This isn't the last of me, I'm sure I will run into more problems down the line. But again u guys are awesome. Thnx again!!!!
