openbox 10s invalid id

I need help. Ordered an openbox receiver. Hooked it up and after a while got a message on
screen. Invalid Id. It will power on but with blank screen now will not due anything. Did I get ripped off? Or can this thing be reset? Please help someone. It's an openbox hd 10s...and supposed to be new. Tks

I know nothing about your box, but did do a little surfin and I see where others had similar problems so the first thing I would do would be to reinstall it's original file and see what happens. good luck

go and get a serial connector, then download the loader from the manu-f website. and the factory-bin..
connect it to serial port that is working. run the loader ,then select file and click burn file.. .leave stb off then after clicking burn ,then put on the stb, wait and read screen,
all this info is in the loader program readme, get it..
i did this a zillion times to mine after loading wrong .abs file,
mine is the s12. should be the same process..and its still working...
